S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University has been cooperating with Pennsylvania State University (the USA) since 2006. Professors from America with their lectures on credit system learning have com S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University has been cooperating with Pennsylvania State University (the USA) since 2006. Professors from America with their lectures on credit system learning have come to our University during collaboration period. Our University has been a participant of Kazakhstan-American project on alfalfa and maize planting on the territory of Akmolinsk oblast.

S.O.Kitaibekova - the Head of the Department of International Relations has training trip at Pennsylvania State University within the contract concluded on April 3-23, 2008 between two Universities. Pennsylvania State University was founded as a farmer school in 1855, it was reorganized into Collage of Agriculture, and into University in 1953 then. The University is located in State College and in the nearby towns. It has 17 campuses. There are 90000 students, 13 Colleges (Departments), 41000 personnel at that University. During the trip S.O.Kitaibekova has familiarized with educational system on Bachelor, Master’s degree, PhD programs in Agriculture; she has acquainted with the Department of International Relations, also she has visited the Centre for foreign students welfare, English courses for foreign students, who study at Pennsylvania State University. Sara Orazbekovna has attended some classes on “Agronomy”, “Economy” , where she has presented Kazakhstan and S.Seifullin KazATU to undergraduates and graduates. For exchange program development she has visited some agricultural enterprises and farms of Pennsylvania, New-York, New-Jersey, Maryland, Delaware. During the training period S.O.Kitaibekova has participated in Council on Agriculture Development, which has its sessions twice a year, the main aim is to support the College of Agriculture sciences of Pennsylvania State University with the help of large farming enterprises of Pennsylvania State. The President of the Council is John Reed Rodgers, who is a farmer in eight generation. Also he has been working according to “Farmer to farmer ” program for 14 years in Kazakhstan. The certificate has been given to S.O.Kitaibekova at the end of that successful training in the USA.
