Last week, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor at the University of Life Sciences in Poznan (Poland), Roman Hołubowicz, visited KATRU with a working visit.
At the meeting between Professor Roman Hołubowicz and KATRU Rector, Kanat Tireuov, specific tasks and issues on cooperation in the field of student training were discussed. Mr. Roman Hołubowicz, being the official representative of the Rector of the University in Poznan for the development of cooperation, proposed consistent steps to improve the quality of education at the international level and joint training of specialists, including grants for the training of master degree students at the University of Life Sciences in Poznan.
During the visit, Professor Roman Hołubowicz gave lectures on “Seed Science and Seed Production” for students of Agronomy, held seminars for young scientists and teaching staff of the Faculty of Agronomy, at which the problems of seed science in the production of Kazakhstan and European countries, as well as ways to solutions. The seminars of scientists and students with Professor Roman Hołubowicz were helpful, based on the results of which certain tasks for scientific projects were formed.
Professor Roman Hołubowicz expressed gratitude to the management of the university for the warm welcome, as well as personally to the Rector for organizing a visit to the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the exhibitions of which have a deep meaning and evoke undeniable admiration.
