There is a great opportunity to intensify international cooperation between S.Seifullin KATRU and the Australian Murdoch University. International manager of Murdoch University Fahad Adnan and official representative of Murdoch University in Kazakhstan Didar Karataev spoke about this during a meeting with the team of KATRU.
“One of the development priorities of our university is internationalization. We pay great attention to the issue of internationalization of educational programs and the development of academic mobility. The main goal is to increase the competitiveness and demand of our graduates in the domestic and international labor market,” said Chairman-Rector of KATRU, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Tireuov.
Today Saken Seifullin KATRU participates in international programs and projects in the field of education and science, cooperates with international partners. Currently, the Kazakh university works with more than 40 countries of the world.
Among Australian universities, it has close ties with Flinders University. Gulmira Khasanova, a KATRU teacher, completed an internship in agriculture and plant breeding at Flinders University in Australia.
The University strives to strengthen international cooperation by increasing the number of students studying as part of academic mobility. Another important area of cooperation is joint preparation and conduct of scientific research, joint publication of scientific articles, participation in conferences, round tables, etc.
During the meeting, Fahad Adnan said that cooperation between the two educational institutions in the field of scientific research has great potential. Representatives of Murdoch University answered questions from KATRU employees and exchanged views on establishing effective partnerships.
