According to the results of the student competition “DIGITAL AGROLEADERS”, which was organized by KATRU’s partner – the Eurasia Group Kazakhstan company, the KATRU team won 1st and 2nd places!
In the personal competition, 4th year student of Agronomy faculty Ernur Mukanov took 1st place and won a trip to the USA with an excursion to the “John Deere” plant! The winners who took second and third places will go to “John Deere” factories in Germany and Turkey.
The Eurasia Group Kazakhstan company held a competition among students from universities and colleges with which it cooperates: S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University, M. Kozybaev North Kazakhstan University, Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University and Higher Agrotechnical College (Chaglinka village, Akmola region). The competition consisted of 3 stages, in which 3rd and 4th year students took part. However, 3 students of our university reached the last stage: one of them is a 4th year student of the Agronomy faculty Ernur Mukanov. The final stage was held at the office of Eurasia Group Kazakhstan LLP in Kokshetau. A team of 3 students went from KATRU under the guidance of a teacher of the technical faculty, K. Isenov. The final stage of the competition took place over 2 days (04/11-12/2024). On the first day, master classes were held, students were given general education lectures on agricultural machinery, during which they asked and discussed questions of interest. On the second day, the final stage took place, during which students solved problems, worked on cases, answered questions, and if they answered correctly, they were given cards. Among all the participants, Ernur Mukanov scored 19 score cards, that is, the maximum number.
Managing Director of the company Philippe Grimme wished the competition participants success in their studies and in life, and gift certificates were presented to the winners by Sergei Glokke, General Director of Eurasia Group Kazakhstan.
